Evelyn McGregor (Keynote Speaker):

Evelyn is currently responsible for providing Civil Rights training,
monitoring, and coordinating all Title VI compliance activities
for state and Federally-Assisted Nutrition
Assistance programs in a 10 state region,
and 23 Tribal Government agencies. She
oversees and coordinates the regions Title
VII EEO Special Emphasis programs and
activities. Evelyn is an experienced mediator
and serves as the regional liaison between
her agency, other Federal agencies, and the
general public.

This session is designed to help anyone navigate
the Federal jobs employment
website. The presentation covers the basics—
from creating a resume to setting up search
agents and uploading documents. The presentation
has recently been revised to reflect the
USA Jobs upgrade which occurred on January
23, 2010.
Junell is a Colorado native and has worked for
the USGS since August 2007. Prior to her federal
career she worked in the non-profit service
industry.
Carrolle Rushford (Lunch speaker):
GO MAD-Get Out and Make Difference!
Carrolle is a nationally known speaker who
has trained or presented to over 25,000 people
from all levels of government as well as private
industry. She brings real life examples to
her training sessions, providing an open forum
to address participant concerns.
Her dynamic, innovative and down-to-earth
style is her speaking trademark. She presents
material in an interesting, informative manner
and is known for her personal enthusiasm.
Ann Vanderslice, Retirement Specialist:
Generational Diversity
Diversity may not always be what you think.
In most large organizations there are divisions,
groups or units where there can be three
to four age generations working side by side.
It is important to know how to appeal to each
generation and how to get the best production
from each. Ann will highlight recent and interesting
findings in this field.
Ann has been working with federal employees
to help them achieve retirement
success since 2002. She is a popular
speaker nationally on topics of interest to
federal employees and runs her own
company out of Lakewood, Colorado.
Michelle Crockett, FEW National Vice

What is “compliance” and why does
FEW monitor the progress made by the
federal gov’t in achieving equal employment
opportunity? What will the Federal
workplace look like for 2010 and beyond?
Michelle has 21 years of federal service
and currently works as the National Program
Director for EEO and Diversity at
the NOAA National Ocean Service. Michelle
has been a Vice-President for
FEW for many years.

legislative program CapWiz, the
hot issues facing women in government
today and specifically how FEW is
working for you. Patt has held elected
offices at the chapter, regional and national
levels in FEW since 1984.
